Hopper feed Euro coin counting machine. Can count up to 200 coins per minute and Non Euro coins are automatically rejected. Counts and sorts coins into individual trays and auto stops when full. Programmable for coin bin full quantities .

Regarding foreign coins being put through the CS50 € coin counter;  

This machine is made for counting Euro currency and not made to take other coins. However if another foreign coin happens to be loaded into the hooper with other coins the following will happen: 

• It will go into the machine and fall out into the basket of whichever euro coin it matches closest to in size.
• If the foreign coin does not fit into any of the euro coin baskets it will continue to go around the machine until the machine is turned off, once the machine is turned off and unplugged you can open the little door at the back of the machine and remove the foreign coin.

When looking into the machine through the little opening at the back of the machine –there is a small black object towards the top left hand side – this is the height regulator.This height regulator only lets coins pass through which are up to the thickness of the €2 coin. ( €2 coin being the thickest of the euro coins)

 If a Foreign coin happens to be put through the machine and is very slightly thicker than the €2 it will get stuck under this black height regulator – then all other coins will not be able to pass under the black height regulator and you will notice the machine not counting and EC will appear on the screen ( EC = Rotary Disc Error )Once this occurs you need to turn off & unplug the machine, then open the little back door and remove the stuck coin. The Sterling £1 coin gets stuck under this black height regulator. When loading coins into the hooper for counting you must double check that there are no £1 coins as these always cause the machine to jam.
